Question Search Engine Optimization - what is it and what can it do for me? - figure out key words that people search for relative to your product service - insert/integrate those key words into your website ex) "small business consultant" or "web coaching" were the terms people searched for, vs "internet consultant - optimize site and pages people search for the most so he gets found in Google - use free tools to figure out key words. http://www.google.com/sktool/ - link key words, lots of techniques - can do these things your self - hire a SEO firm, $1000-10,000/month - check for Jim's source Anita in forum, inexpensive optimization - www.doityourselfsearch.com - have to do it

SEO Basics 1) figure out key words 2) optimize website so Google likes 3) write content based on those keywords that Google can index 4) create back links to site from other websites with relevant content
